Finally a truly portable internet radio with RCA out

I travel for work and always missed my home HiFi. The WS156 is perfect. Built-in battery lasts 6+ hours, and the RCA output lets me connect to hotel sound systems. The aluminum body feels premium. Setup took 2 minutes. Much better than the C Crane which has no battery. Highly recommended.

Every Audiophile Traveler Needs This

I built a simple travel kit around the WS156. The aluminum body feels premium, and the sound is incredible for its size. The onboard RCA output lets me tap into any external system. I've recommended this to all my audiophile friends. Great job, TUNERSYS.

Gold version looks stunning on my desk

Bought the gold WS156 for my home office. It's beautiful – brushed aluminum fits any decor. The built-in speaker is surprisingly good for its size. I use the RCA output to connect to my powered speakers for even better sound. Skytune gives me thousands of stations. Love it.

Use it as a bedside radio with external speakers

I have the WS156 on my nightstand. During the day, I use the built-in speaker. At night, I plug it into my small powered speakers via RCA for better sound. The dual alarm clock works perfectly – wakes me up to my favorite BBC station. Battery backup means time and presets survive power outages. C Crane can't do that. Very well thought out product.

Perfect for outdoor listening

Took this camping last weekend. Battery lasted from morning coffee to evening campfire. Connected to a portable speaker via RCA – we had music all day. The aluminum body survived a few bumps. My friend has a C Crane and was jealous. Highly recommend for anyone who wants internet radio anywhere.

RCA Output Is a Game Changer

I was deciding between this and other portable radios. The WS156 has a built-in rechargeable battery AND full RCA outs. I feed it into my vintage Marantz amp—pure HiFi. The 0.9kg weight is perfect for moving between rooms. Battery life is solid (about 6 hours).

RCA output is a game changer – beats C Crane hands down

I was deciding between this and the C Crane CC WiFi 3. The C Crane has no battery and only 3.5mm out, while WS156 has a built-in rechargeable battery AND full RCA outs. I feed it into my vintage Marantz amp – pure HiFi. The 0.9kg weight is perfect for moving between rooms. Battery life is solid (about 6 hours). If you want a truly portable internet radio with line out, this is it.

Great Radio but Wish the Display Was Bigger

Overall very happy. The sound quality from the built-in speaker is excellent for its size. RCA output works flawlessly. Battery lasts about 5-6 hours. Only small complaint: the display could be larger for my aging eyes, but it's readable. Four stars only because of the display size.

Great radio but wish the display was a bit bigger

Overall very happy. The sound quality from the built-in speaker is excellent for its size. RCA output works flawlessly. Battery lasts about 5-6 hours. The only small complaint is the display could be larger for my aging eyes – but it's readable. Compared to C Crane which has no battery at all, this is a no-brainer if you want portability. Four stars only because of the display size.

Lightweight and Tough—Great for My Workshop

My workshop gets dusty, and things get knocked around. The WS156's aluminum body has taken a few drops and still works perfectly. I mounted it on a shelf and ran RCA cables to an old amp powering ceiling speakers. The battery means I can unplug it and take it to another part of the shop.

Gold Version Looks Stunning and Sounds Even Better

I bought the gold WS156 for my kitchen. It's beautiful—brushed aluminum fits any decor. The built-in speaker is surprisingly good for its size, and the RCA output lets me connect to my big speakers when I want more volume. This one goes from kitchen to patio effortlessly.

The built-in speaker is surprisingly good for its size, and the RCA output lets me connect to my big speakers when I want more volume. Setup was easy, and the 99 presets are a lifesaver. I've tried C Crane WiFi 3, but without a battery you can't move it around. This one goes from kitchen to patio effortlessly.

Replaced My Squeezebox—Better in Every Way

I was a longtime Logitech Squeezebox user until the server died. The WS156 is the perfect replacement. It has RCA outs like the Squeezebox but adds a built-in battery and a decent internal speaker. Setup with Skytune was easy. The aluminum body feels solid. Get this for true portability.

Perfect for Hotel Rooms with Sound Systems

I travel for work and stay in hotels that have soundbars or small stereos. The WS156's RCA output lets me plug in directly. No more listening to tinny phone speakers. The battery lasts all evening. Setup is one-time—it remembers my home and hotel WiFi after first connection.

Perfect for Outdoor Listening—Battery Lasts All Day

Took this camping last weekend. The built-in battery lasted from morning coffee to evening campfire. Connected it to a portable speaker via RCA—we had music all day. The aluminum body survived a few bumps. My friend was jealous that I didn't need to find a power outlet.
