Not for beginners

This board is powerful but requires some technical knowledge to use the UART features. If you just want a simple MP3 player, get the basic model. For makers, it's great. Four stars because it's not plug-and-play.

Excellent for custom car audio integration

I used this board to add USB and FM radio to my car's vintage stereo. The UART commands are well-documented, and I was able to control it with a small microcontroller. Very versatile board.

This board has UART serial control, which makes it perfect for Arduino or ESP8266 projects. I built an internet-controlled MP3 player. The FM radio is a bonus. Highly recommend for advanced DIYers.
