I'm an electrical engineer, so I appreciate good DAC design. The WS161's 24-bit/192KHz optical and coaxial inputs are excellent. I connected my CD transport and TV, and the sound quality is superb. The RCA outputs are clean and noise-free. A well-engineered product.

Better Than My Old Logitech Squeezebox

When Logitech shut down Squeezebox servers, I needed a replacement. The WS161 is it. It has all the same features—internet radio, line out, remote—plus Bluetooth and a built-in DAC. The Skytune platform is solid. I connected it to my old Squeezebox speakers.
